Dr. Fincher received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, graduating summa cum laude. He then went to Medical school at the University of Arkansas, graduating top five of his graduating class. He then pursued his ophthalmology residency at Scott and White in Temple, TX.
His wife, Nino, is originally from Tbilisi, Georgia. They met while they were studying at Dallas Theological Seminary. Nino has a degree in counseling from DTS and provides health coaching and counseling internationally. Dr. Fincher and Nino are grateful to have two sons, Stephen and Philip.
Dr. Fincher was blessed with the opportunity to care for patients throughout the Middle East while they were living in Abu Dhabi over 15 years. He and his family are grateful for the warm hospitality they have experienced in the region and return to visit friends frequently.
He has been back in the U.S. and working at RGB since January of 2023. Wherever he is serving, Dr. Fincher strives to communicate the love of Jesus Christ through his professional excellence and compassionate manner.
When he’s not working, you can typically find Dr. Fincher exploring mountainous regions with his sons. They enjoy rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, canyoning, and mountain biking.
