Our experienced ophthalmologists work with you to evaluate the severity of your cataracts and will recommend a personalized treatment plan. During your initial appointment, our trained technicians will perform several diagnostic tests.
These may include:
- A visual acuity test which measures the quality of your vision at certain distances
- Pupil dilation, which increases the size of the pupil and allows for assessing the health of the entire eye
- Corneal topography
If you wear contact lenses you may be required to remove them prior to your appointment in order to obtain accurate measurements of your eye. Please call us for specific instructions.
